The use of the name Syrah for this wine indicates that it is made similar to a complex French style Syrah that highlight’s the fruit’s cool climate characteristics. A delicious cool climate Shiraz/Syrah with blackberry and cherry flavours and hints of vanilla and pepper. Lively acidity and fine tannins which will soften with the years. Due to the drought flavours were concentrated but yields were low leading us to decide to hold this back as a special Christmas release for our Club Members.
